Book Review: ‘Interesting Stories For Curious People,’ by Bill O'Neill

Reading past events will add knowledge into curious minds

After dropping off his family at Shenandoah National Park, Christopher drove straight Honda CR-V towards the Tysons Corner Center to buy book. When reached, he felt hungry so went inside the restaurant to dine in, there he ordered Country Fried Steak from Virginia Kitchen menu and sat in chair to read WhatsApp messages in his iPhone.

Then when he walked inside the Old Town Books after filling his appetite, wandering in books shelf but couldn't figure out so he approached the bookstore assistant for suggestion and ask for assistance.

When Christopher asked for reason behind buying this book then bookstore assistant replied that Interesting Stories For Curious People, is aimed at curious people who eager to get the facts and figures, for example, Science, past historical events and Pop Culture etc.

Book author, Bill O'Neill has written this book in such a way that makes easy for readers getting the reasons behind. Examples - In a murder trial how Frenchman did used spontaneous combustion defense? How the cold war in Germany successfully ended with the help of teenager? How foam houses could be used as wave in the future in innovative way? Getting to know about Chupacabra and subsequently think deeper how they were two? Did snake actually bitten Cleopatra, and what made cause of death?

When bookstore assistant concluded her book review then Christopher decided to buy, he headed towards the cash counter, gave VISA credit card to swipe, and after getting receipt headed towards his home in Alexandria with his bought book.
