They couldn't utter love feelings from fear of war

Polish girl Alina Dziak was in love with Tomasz when she was only nine years of age, at that time she made her mind would be life partner. But when she reached at the age of fifteen years, the day arrives for her engagement.

It was a time when Nazi soldiers about to invade Poland but teenage girl Alina not bothered about war threat. She kept waiting for Tomasz but soon realized her dream of wedding in tatters. 

German soldiers begun advancing the Polish territory and Alina's small rural village also came under their occupation. Amidst the horror of World War 2, she gets frightened when failed to knew trace of Tomasz.

Later in same warfare year of 1942, albeit she reunited with Tomasz but it seemed difficult for both of them expressing love feelings. Everywhere German soldiers seen patrolling the streets of Warsaw. Therefore, Alina and Tomasz preferred to remain silent.
