Musk has hinted at the possibility of audio and video calls at X

Elon Musk announced that X, the former Twitter platform, is currently exploring video and audio calling capabilities.

The screenshot displayed options to allow voice and audio calls to all verified users, individuals in the user's address book, and users they "follow" on the platform. Musk's post was met with a number of users complaining that they could not see the feature in their app.

The billionaire plans to launch a global address book called X, which will offer calling features on iOS, Android, Mac, and PC systems, eliminating the need for a phone number.
