Lenovo unveiled a system for producing digital clones of people

Lenovo presented on the latest advancements in artificial intelligence at the Tech World 2023 technology conference. The idea of building a digital "twin" of the user as a personal assistant turned out to be one of the most intriguing AI technologies.

Naturally, what we are discussing here is not an exact replica of an individual, but rather the capabilities of an artificial intelligence assistant that will possess extensive knowledge about the owner or his business. Owing to information gathered from a personal device, the digital assistant can "predict" its requirements in various situations.

The business provided the outcomes of route planning to Sweden as an example. Whereas AI Twin will tailor its recommendations to the individual user, "Regular" AI will only offer a broad overview. The best airports to fly into will be suggested by a clever algorithm, which will also suggest specific eateries and provide comprehensive travel advice.

In response to a query regarding data confidentiality, business representatives stated that they plan to thoroughly investigate this matter and provide users with the option to restrict the amount of personal data that AI can obtain. They claim that the algorithm does not require "communicating" with the cloud in order to be used offline.

The project is presently in the development phase, and no date has been set for the "digital twins"' commercial debut.
