This new Mercedes-Benz truck would compete Tesla Semi

Mercedes-Benz a competitor of Tesla has just announced their plans to roll out their new assembly line of trucks eActros 600 by the end of 2024.

The importance of these trucks cannot be ruled out in this fast paced competitive market especially FMCG where goods in large quantities goes out from the company warehouses on daily basis.

Semi-trailer' of eActros 600 capable to carry out 22 tons of load. Its headlights are of matrix LED that would be sufficient in guiding its way in night journey. Manufacturer made the length of cabin of 80 mm for purpose of aerodynamics. 

This is an electric truck and hence charges from to operate from three lithium iron phosphate batteries of each 621 kWh. The truck can travel a distance of 500 km from single charge.  Overall it can cover a mileage of 1,000 km per day as Mercedes-Benz pointed out.

Initially 400 kW would be the charging power but increase to 1 mW that to enable fast charging from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes. 805 is the horsepower integrated after bringing together 536 hp capacity each electric motor.
