Could this new submarine replace Titanic Submersible?

The name of this newly built submarine is Super Sub which was developed by Dutch company U-Boat Worx, showcased recently before general public and media.

During the exhibition, the creators and representatives of U-Boat Worx revealed that this submarine could go deep inside water up to 300 meters and cover a distance of 18.5 km/h (10 knots).

The total number of passengers could travel Super Sub consists of three. This submarine is 6.5 meters long in length, has a bubble shaped cabin just similar to sports car and has hydrodynamics hull.

If we recall what happened to Titanic Submersible last year of June, was imploded catastrophically and as a result all five passengers including OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush died.

The engine capacity is of 100 kW. This is an electric submarine that charges from 62 kWh battery and takes 8 hours to charge. When the submarine operates, hydrofoils assists the flow of the water gets away from its thrusters. Consequently, it guides the underwater submarine for changing its direction swiftly up to angle of 45 degrees.

The traveler’s onboarding Super Sub submarine can communicate with the surface for up to four days. The oxygen supported submarine also has the capacity to purify CO2.
