soldiers in uniform |
Polaris Solutions an Israeli origin company has developed a new generation of camouflage coating. The gadget is
created in the form of a sheet and empowers soldiers practically invisible. The
outcome has already been tested in the army.
The material called Kit 300 is designed in partnership with the Israeli Ministry of Defense and dispenses multispectral camouflage. Engineers announced the distinctiveness of the technology and the complete absence of analogues in the market. Simultaneously, all the compulsory patents have already been registered in many countries.
The sheet of material is put together from numerous metals, polymers, and microfibers. During the experiment, it was believable to prove that the soldier could not be seen either with an armed eye or with thermal imaging equipment.
Each sheet is
manufactured under specified conditions, and engineers customize the color and
pattern depending on the customer's needs and the geography of the use region.
Painting is carried out on two sides, which permit the use of material both
among dense vegetation and for desert landscapes.
The material
can transform 3D shapes, as well as folded into a compact roll. It is
waterproof and can serve as a shelter or can be used as a stretcher to carry
wounded soldiers on the battleground, with a weight of up to 250 kg. Besides,
the material is easy to adapt for medical grounds, to overlay tires and support
broken bones, or as a warm blanket to rescue from hypothermia.
Manufacturer Polaris Solutions looking forward to entering the mass market in the next decade. Engineers invented the concept of the Invisible Cloak, promising to bring fantastic scripts from movies into reality.
